Our last day in Berchsgarden

So today we decided to go on a longer hike and go to a mountain castle and have lunch and then hike down a river valley back to our car. So we headed up the path towards the castle. We walked up the path for about an hour and thirty minutes. Then we reached a farmer's field and a path leading up into a wooded area. We decided to go towards the wooded area and we walked down the path for about 5 min. Then it came to a field so we followed what little of the path was left and came to a dead end.
