French alps

Our campsite last nite was about 20 minutes outside Lyon french in the foothills of the alps.
It felt good to end the driving marathon....
Searching for a tire store , the old great internet sent us into city center of lyon France's second biggest city,  and alas it had a sign but nothing else, so much for businesses updating their websites...
Into the hills we went....our campground 20 stes and rentalable cabins. Free wifi for 30 minutes that couldnt send pictures, again...was great free showers hot! A squat toilet, now that's new, sinks for dish washing and shaving.after a dinner of pasta and veggies,sausage sauce. I walked with my newly acquired Heineken glass filled ! from our campsite to the boules' court, a family ( males) were playing, it's kinda like bocce.  I was also doing our laundry only $7.50 for wash and 1/2  dry....the office closed and tokens only In The machines, so the undried dryer load  got hung on the clothes  line behind our site, with the neighbors swim towels. I watched them play boules for over an hour the dad's were teaching the little ones how to play..boules is a regional game for this part of France.
Up this morning, coffee and relaxing while the grizz slept.
9 am griz is up a great veggie scramble with baguette cheese, drink yogurt, oj..life is good!
Showers
Off we go, water bottles filled, trash emptied, (van organized,  liams specialty..ha ha.
Off to Albertson, France up in the alps, skiing resort. We head up a valley road 15 kilometers up and up....
We stop at Beaufort France a picturesque village, Liam does a 20 minute you, I have a beer at the only place open on Sunday, the boulangerie. Sitting outside it's 21° C lots of motorcycles on these high mountain roads on a Sunday.
Then we climb more 6 kilometres up pastthe  ski village of are'ches further up to our 'sound of music' campground
Well it's fathers day...
Liam made dinner, salad, sausages with peppers and onions, and he did the dishes.
The sun goes down quick up here.
Good nite all, the griz will sleep outside, I in the van with room to move.....
